Clifton Phillips

Clifton Dwain Phillips, 82, of Ruidoso Downs, NM passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Ruidoso. He was born September 24, 1934 at Lubbock, Texas and was raised at Amherst, Texas. He served in the Army, he married Norma Huffstedler on November 8, 1954 at Littlefield, Texas and she preceded him in death on September 17, 2011. He farmed in Lamb County, Texas before moving to Ruidoso in 1973 from Littlefield, Texas. He owned and operated the Art and Flower Nook with his wife.

He is survived by his son, Jay Phillips and is wife Donna; three grandchildren, Jeremy Phillips, Docia Phillips and Lindie Phillips; 2 great grandchildren, Cyrhus Liguori and Zachary Liguori.

His memorial service will be Saturday, December 17, at 6:00 P.M. at the Elk's Lodge on Highway 70 in Ruidoso, NM.
