Clara Blake
August 16, 1959 — June 4, 2017
Clara "Girsh" Blake, 57, of Mescalero passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 in Ruidoso. She was born August 16, 1959 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life. She worked in housekeeping at the Inn of the Mountain Gods.
She is survived by her husband, William Mendez; children, Jeremy Dennis, Samantha Mendez, Brian Mendez and Brendon Mendez; her mother, Genevieve Blake; brothers and sisters, Laura Enjady, Caroline Blake, Norma Harrington, Byron Blake, Jennifer Blake and Francis Dolan and nine grandchildren.
Her funeral mass will be Thursday, June 8, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Mission at Mescalero with burial to follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
