Christopher Misquez

Christopher "Chris" Misquez, 40, of Nogal passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 in El Paso, TX. He was born December 3, 1975 at Dallas, Texas and moved to Lincoln County in 1994 from Irving, Texas. Chris was a technician for Zia Gas and attended St. Eleanor's Catholic Church. He married Maria Moorhead on February 19, 2005 in Capitan.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; children, Morgan Misquez and her husband Rafeal Santa Coloma; Brennon Moorhead, Samantha Hobbs, and Ruben Misquez; granddaughter, Ellie Campuzano; his mother, Margie Misquez; brothers, Edward Misquez and Ray Misquez and his wife, Amanda; and 6 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Ruben Misquez Sr.; Dad, Ruben Misquez Jr.; uncles, Benny Sanchez, Gilbert Misquez Sr. and grandparents, Eduardo and Verlinda Sanchez.
Chris loved life, helping people, the outdoors, going to rodeos, fishing and kids.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the prayer service at 6:00 PM at St. Eleanor's Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be Wednesday, November 23, at 10:00 AM also at St. Eleanor's Catholic Church with the burial at St. Jude's Catholic Cemetery.
