Charles Sessum

Funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, at Terpening & Son Mortuary in Artesia, New Mexico for Charles Leon Sessum of Ruidoso, New Mexico.

Mr. Sessum, 88, died Tuesday September 14, 2021 at his home in Ruidoso.

Pastor Michael Elliot will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas.

Charles was born on September 19, 1932 in Roby, TX, the son of Floyd and Effie (Newman) Sessum.

Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Christine Sessum, two brothers and three sisters.

He is lovingly remembered by sisters Norma Mansfield of Martinez CA, Jeannette Wallace Boyer of Pinole CA, Barbara Noling of Artesia NM, Elizabeth Grissom of Lebanon OR, Peggy Hooten of Colorado Springs CO, step-granddaughter Jennifer Boulware of Mineral Wells TX and many nieces and nephews.
