Charles Floyd

Memorial services for Charles Murray Floyd, 57, of Ruidoso will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 1:00 PM in the Denton Funeral Home Chapel in Denton, Texas. Mr. Floyd passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, n Ruidoso. He was born December 27, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Charles and Kathleen Floyd. He moved to Ruidoso in August, 2001 from Aubrey, Denton County, Texas. He was a member of the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce and was owner-operator of the Village Lodge in Ruidoso. He married Jane Parks on November 7, 1980 in Abilene, Texas. He is survived by his wife Jane of Ruidoso; children, Josie Mae Smith and her husband Kirk of Friscoe, Texas, Jillian Ashley Floyd of Lewisville, Texas and Charles Nathan Floyd of Flagstaff, Arizona; 2 granddaughters, Courtney Starr and Alexis Smith and a grandson, Jordan Smith. The family has requested memorials to International Dyslexia Association, 40 York Road, 4th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21204.
