Charles Wesley Bickmore, 75, died August 26, 2025
Charles was born October 17, 1949 in Los Angeles, California to Robert Carver Bickmore and Kate Charlotte Bisbee Bickmore. He married his best friend, Althea Ann Richins in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 28, 1970. Charlie graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, class of 1967, served a year with the United States Air Force during Vietnam, and then graduated from Westminster College, class of 1972. He worked the majority of his professional career in pharmaceutical sales with AH Robins and then Wyeth Ayerst Laboratories. Always an active person, Charlie had numerous hobbies including marathon running, triathlons, downhill and cross-country skiing, cycling, racquetball, fishing, ice fishing, fly fishing, scuba diving, and traveling. A student of history and an avid reader, he had a wonderful memory and could discuss books, even read years ago, in detail. Charlie planned for and was fortunate enough to retire early with Ann and live out his dream of raising quarter horses in Ancho, New Mexico.
Survived by his wife of 55 years; daughters, Courtney (Christopher) Palmer, Roswell New Mexico; Shelley (Brett) Middleton, Acworth Georgia. Grandchildren; Kellen (Samantha), Cole, Evelyn, Parker, Elise, Ian. Great granddaughter; Thea. Sister; Susan Winslow.
Charlie will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later day.
