Carroll Godwin

A memorial service for Carroll W. Godwin, 80, of Ruidoso will be Friday, January 16, at 2:00 PM at the Ruidoso Downs Race Track Chapel. His burial will follow next week at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas, TX.

Mr. Godwin passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015, in Ruidoso. He was born September 9, 1934 at Dallas, Texas and moved to Ruidoso in 2000 from Denton, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda; three children, Daniel Godwin, Sheri Braswell and Suzanne Miles; 4 brothers, James Godwin, Joseph Godwin, Charles Godwin and Archie Godwin; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Godwin and a son, Randy Godwin.
