Bernetta Galloway-Porter

Graveside service for Bernetta Betty Galloway Porter, 89, of Capitan will be Tuesday, August 14, at 10:00 AM in the Capitan Cemetery at Capitan, NM.

She was born October 16, 1922 at Supply, OK and passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Mescalero, NM. She moved to Lincoln County in 1924 and lived there for 40 years and had also lived in Dona Ana and Sierra Counties, she graduated from Capitan High School. While living in Lincoln County she ranched at the Flying W Diamond ranch near Capitan.

She is survived by two sons, Lee Galloway and his wife, Janet of Monument, Colorado and Curtis Porter and his wife Nancy of Albuquerque a daughter, Shirley Hart of her husband Kenny of Ruidoso Downs four grandchildren, Guy Galloway, Leslie Porter, Brad Porter, and Lisa Mohan and 3 great grandchildren.
