Becky Lester

Becky Jo Lester, 48, of Mescalero was born February 15, 1968 and passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016. She was the youngest daughter of Parker and Anita Lester in Mescalero, NM. She attended the Mescalero Headstart, Bent-Mescalero School and then Tularosa Junior High where she played basketball and ran track, she also attended Ruidoso High School.

She had six children, Branson Lester, Harlen Lester, Thedore "Ted" Torres, Brittney Salazar, Nikki Torres and Frank Lester. Her siblings surviving her are: Gailda Tenorio, Dwight Evans, Sharolynn Evans, Marla Evans, Tammy Torres, Thelton Lester, George P. Lester Jr., Mervil Lester, Rena Enjady, Joel A. Lester; aunts, Sadie Comanche and Viola Morgan; uncles Steven Domingez and Richard Domingez; 7 grandchildren, Shanae Lester, Stormy Lester, Rae Lee Lester, Lee Rae Lester, Branson L. Lester Jr., Nicolas Lester and Hailee Lester.

Becky worked at several Tribal entities. We all knew Beck in different ways and she will be greatly missed. "We love you Becky"

Prayer service will be Thursday, March 31, at 6:00 P.M. at St. Joseph's Mission where the funeral mass will be on Friday, April 1, at 10:00 A.M. with burial to follow at the Whitetail Cemetery.
