Barney Rue

Barney Rue, 77 passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 in is home. Barney was born in Arabela, NM on August 21, 1939. He lived in Lincoln County all of his life. He owned and operated Barney Rue Sand & Gravel for the past 55 years.

He is survived by his wife Carol Rue of 23 years, and his seven children and four step children, Elias and Lorena Rue, Yon and Corena Rue, Bronson and April Rue, Tony and Sandra Rue, Norma and Ray Montes, Davina Rue, and Rocky Rue, Billy Baldanado, Dodie and Mike Sandoval, Linda and Jose Montano, and Jerome Montes, His siblings, Nora and Danny Sanchez, Henry Rue, Inez and Felix Gonzales. Dudley and Stella Rue, Gary and Pat Rue, Dorothy and JT Skarda, Bonnie Rue and Rene Courreges, twenty grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren, and was predeceased by both his parents, sister Martha Rue, brother Cedric Rue, sister-in-law's, Sally Rue and Isabel Rue.

Visitation will be Friday, December 9, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. with the prayer service at St. Eleanor's Catholic Church at 6:00 P.M. The funeral mass will be Saturday, December 10, at 10:00 A.M.
