Arveta Hassell

A light has ascended to Heaven. Arveta Winell Porter Hassell was born on May 5, 1930 and left us September 19, 2015. She leaves behind her loving husband of 66 years, Howard Hassell, daughter Teri Hassell Button and son in law Rick, grandchildren Aimee Fullerton Hanei and Cody Fullerton, and great-grandchildren Cheyenne, Shelby, Kristin, Andy, Carolina and Giber. She was preceded in death by her son Tim Hassell, her sister, parents and many friends. Arveta was born in the oilfields of West Texas, raised her family in Seminole, then moved to Ruidoso in 1970. Howard and Arveta played bridge, danced and built houses.
