Arsenia Lopez

The Rosary for Arsenia A. Lopez, 86, of Carrizozo will be Wednesday, April 7, at 7:00 PM in Santa Ritas Catholic Church at Carrizozo where the funeral mass will be on Thursday, April 15, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery at White Oaks with Father Franklin officiating.

Mrs. Lopez passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 at her home in Carrizozo. She was born April 9, 1923 at Raventon, New Mexico to Julia and Solomon Aragon who both precede her in death. She was raised in Lincoln County then moved to Arizona and moved back to Lincoln County 38 years ago.

She is survived by a daughter, Viola Palameres and her husband Nat of Carrizozo sister, Mabel Zamora of Carrizozo three grandchildren and their spouses, Nathalian Palameres, Betty Diaz, Gabriel Palameres, Kathy Palameres, Pauline Tope and Pete Tope 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lopez in 1996 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
