Antonio P. Esparza

Antonio P. Esparza, fondly known as Tony, was born on June 13, 1960, and he passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, surrounded by his family in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico.

Tony was a man of many passions, and life was full of moments he dearly cherished. He had a love for traveling, always seeking new adventures whenever he could. Tony also found joy in tending to his wife Fabiana's garden, where he spent countless hours nurturing the plants and flowers. Family was at the heart of Tony's life; he adored spending time with his children—Valentine Jr., Elizabeth D., Mariana, and Sonia—along with his grandchildren, Daisy, Britza, Angel, Jackie, Kiana, Orlando, Neyla, Caleb, Lovell, and Kimberely, and his great-granddaughter, Victoria. They brought him immense happiness and he never missed an opportunity to share in their lives.

Music was another of Tony's great loves. Each day, he would listen to his favorite tunes and greet his loved ones with song, filling their home with joy and warmth.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Fabiana S. Esparza, and his four children, as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchild. He is also remembered by his cousins and in-laws, including Olga Guardiola Esparza, Roberto Gonzales, Mona Ramires, Chino Muro, CuCa Gonzales, Lencha Saenz, Baldo Esquivel, Carolina Gonzales, and Raul Monsibais.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Luisa Porras and Alfredo Esparza, his brother-in-law, Andres Soto Saenz, and his mother-in-law, Jesus Christina Saenz.

A funeral service to honor Tony will be held on November 25, 2025, starting at 10:00AM at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso, located at 341 Sudderth Dr, Ruidoso, NM 88345. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
