Anna Posey

Anna Margaret "Judy" Posey was born in Clifton, Arizona on October 18, 1927, she was the youngest of three children born to Bert and Elizabeth Judia. Anna attended school in Silver City, New Mexico and her family moved to Alamogordo when she graduated high school. It was in Alamogordo, while working at the Corner Cafe, that she met and married Delbert E. Posey. Shortly after they married they moved to Ruidoso Downs. She passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 in Parker, Colorado.

Anna worked at the Ruidoso Downs post office and later the Ruidoso post office until her retirement. She and Delbert were active members in the First Baptist Church in Ruidoso Downs. Anna and Delbert lived in Ruidoso Downs until Delbert's death in Februrary 2008. Anna then moved to Colorado to be with her two daughters Sandra Stierwalt and Eileen Snodgrass.

She is survived by Sandra, Eileen and Mary Del Perkins as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anna will be interred next to Delbert, the love of her life, in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruidoso.
