Anita Delores (Huey) McInnes "Sis", came into this world on February 3, 1934 to Kenneth A. Huey and Gertrude A.( Harrison). Huey, in Gran Quivera, N. M. Delores was called to her final resting place, at the age of 83, on January 8, 2018 in Capitan, N. M. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Luther W. McInnes. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Gertrude Huey, 3 brothers Jerry, Billy, and Charles, 1 sister Glenda, 1 nephew Micky Huey, and 1 son-in-law Jim Latham.

Sis is survived by 3 children, Diane Latham of Lincoln, Shirley Tucker and husband Jet of Lincoln, Kent McInnes and wife Heidi of Capitan, and 1 stepson JT Lee of Los Angeles, California. She had 8 grandchildren Thomas Shrecengost, John Shrecengost, Shawna Shrecengost and husband Phillip, Colt McInnes and wife Jodie, Mitchell Harper, Brett McInnes and wife Nina, Hayley McInnes, Kohlby McInnes, and Jonas Barnett. 7 great-grand-children Candice, Cory, Haleigh, Noah, Payson,Sean, and Ashlyn. She had 3 brothers Thomas Huey and wife Susan, Pat Huey and wife Idell, and Kenneth "Stubby" Huey. Sis is also survived by many many nieces and nephews.

Delores' favorite things in life that she truly loved were dancing and seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a Jack of all trades including a waitress at Pearl's Cafe and Smokey Bear Restaurant ( as it was later called) where she made her famous salsa, she was a janitor (Capitan Schools), Bartended at the Rusty Anchor, cashier at the Shell, but she loved most of all working on the family ranch along side her husband (Luther).

Services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Taylor Gym in Capitan, N.M. at 10:00 A.M. Delores will be laid to rest at the Capitan Cemetary. A potluck will follow at the Capitan School Cafeteria.

The family would like to thank Capitan Schools and all the many friends and relatives that helped us through these trying times.
