Alvino Saenz

Prayer service for Alvino W. Saenz, 72, of the MescaleroBent area will be Wednesday, July 24, at 6:00 PM in St. Josephs Mission at Mescalero with the funeral mass on Thursday, July 25, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Saenz Family Cemetery.

Mr. Saenz passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 in El Paso, Texas. He was born September 10, 1940 at Bent, NM to Pilar and Alvino Saenz who both precede him in death. He has lived in Otero County all of his life. He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at Bent.

He is survived by his children, Sharon Saenz, Lorenzo Saenz Sr., Alvino Luke Saenz, Rebecca Martinez, and Arnold Saenz his adopted daughter, Kelli McKinsey brother, George Saenz sister, Anita Guerra 36 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Saenz on January 16, 2004 and his daughter Christine Ponce on August 7, 2011.
