Alvina Valdez

Visitation for Alvina Valdez, 87, of the Three Rivers area will be Friday, Aug. 10, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the funeral mass on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Mission at Mescalero. Ms. Valdez passed away Monday, Aug. 6, in Alamogordo. She was born June 1, 1920 at Mescalero and had lived in the Three Rivers area all of her life and she was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Irvin Valdez and his wife Bertha of Bent; seven grandchildren, Christopher Valdez, Maria Valdez, Sylvia richardson, Veronica Baca, Monica Torres, Irvin Torres, and Loren Gallertio; 30 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; a brother, Santiago Valdez and numerous nieces and nephews.
