Alice Mcteigue

Alice S. McTeigue was born August 17, 1937 in Lincoln NM, to Bernardo and Margeta Salazar. She passed away September 27, 2017 in Las Cruces NM.

She is survived by her sons, Henry "Ace" Griego and wife Wendy of T or C, NM, Paul Griego and wife Marie of Albuquerque, NM, Richard "Dicky" Griego and wife Alicia of Roswell, NM, Jim Griego and wife Jill of Topeka, Kansas; daughters, Monalisa Conger and Husband Mark of Anson, TX, Sissy Griego of Carrizozo, NM, Kimberly Griego of Carrizozo, NM, Mickie Vega and husband George of Carrizozo NM. She has 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; one brother, Joe Salazar and wife Colleen of Lincoln, NM, sisters, Esther Perkins and husband Gene of Illinois, Flo Hill of Florida, Mary Salazar of Alamogordo.

She is preceded in death by both parents, brothers, Alex, Eddy, Ruby and Roger Salazar; sisters: Viola, Marlin, and Ida May; husband Jimmy McTeigue and two sons, Pat and Mario.

She retired from the State of NM. Alice was known and loved dearly by her kids, grandchildren, extended family friends and will be missed dearly by all.

Her Rosary will be Monday, October 2, at 9:30 A.M. at St. Jude's Catholic Church with the funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. with burial to follow at the Hondo Cemetery.
