Albert Hudson

A memorial service for Albert Hudson, 91, of Ruidoso will be Saturday, Aug. 22, at 7:00 PM at the Memorial Prayer Garden at the First Christian Church in Ruidoso. Mr. Hudson passed away Monday, Aug. 17, in Ruidoso. He was born April 24, 1918 at Hollis, Oklahoma. He moved to Ruidoso in 1967 from Hereford, Texas. Before moving to Ruidoso he owned a Buick Dealership in Wichita Falls, Texas and a FordMercury Dealership in Hereford, Texas. After retiring he became an avid golfer playing 5 days a week. He was a Shriner and a member of the First Christian Church. He married Mary Proffitt on November 27, 1957 at Abilene, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Ruidoso; a son, James Proffitt of Ruidoso; a daughter, Susie Edwards of Ruidoso; a sister, Nadine Birchfield of Dodson, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
