Agnes Hein

BR Funeral service for Agnes Degner Hein, 89, of Carrizozo will be Friday, March 14, at 11:00 AM in the Trinity United Methodist in Carrizozo with burial to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, officiating will be Rev. Johanna Anderson. Mrs. Hein passed away Sunday, March 9, in Carrizozo. She was born October 26, 1918 in Bridgewater, South Dakota and moved to Lincoln County in 1926 from South Dakota. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter in Carrizozo; was a very active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She married John A. Hein on July 16, 1944 in Alamogordo and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1970. She is survived by her children, John Hein Jr. and his wife Earlene of Truth or Consequences, James Hein of Alamogordo, Carl Hein and his wife Pam of Albuquerque, Frank Hein and his wife Esther of Alamogordo, June Moore of Alamogordo, and Dorothy Sanchez and her husband Alfred of Lincoln; brother, Eugene Degner and his wife Sharon of Alamogordo; two sisters, Frances Degner of Carrizozo and Louise Embrey of Grants; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family has requested memorials to the American Heart Association.
