Thomas Stephens

Tommy Stephens was born September 15, 1952 in Illinois.  The Lord took him to go home on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Bob and Thelma Stephens of Capitan and his loving in laws, Emory Blakeney and JoAnn Blakeney of Hobbs; and many grandparents and great grandparents, aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debrah Stephens of Capitan; his sons, Joe Bob Stephens and his wife, Crystal and their children, Blake and Gracie; his son, Tommy Stephens and his children, Tommy Lee, Sarina, and Trinity; his son, Dean Stephens and his wife, Brook of Roswell; sister-in-law, Amanda Engle and her husband Rod of Oklahoma.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, many who were his “sons” and “daughters” in his eyes.

Memorial service will be Saturday, July 27, at Noon in the Capitan Church of Christ.
