Robert Cordova

Robert Cordova, 57, of Ruidoso New Mexico born September 21 ,1962 in Albuquerque New Mexico. Robert will always be remembered by those he met. To every person he met he treated them as equals. A man who made time for others. He will be remembered for his smile. Always full of life and joy. To his kids he was known as Disneyland dad. Playing and having fun was our dads specialty. Robert Cordova golf course shaper extraordinaire. He could run any piece of heavy equipment, but he was masterful in his talents with a bulldozer. To some his talents in bringing out the life of the land he was called an artist. The love he had for his wife was to be admired. He loved his family and children and worked so hard to provide not only what they needed but what they wanted. Pops as he was called by his grandchildren could play for hours with them no matter how hard he worked those days. He loved getting to play with them, hold them, love and kiss them. Even if he could only talk or see them over the phone his grandchildren could light up his day. Son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, Christian. Christian would be best to describe our father as his faith is what made him who he was. It brought out his service for others. His love for his wife and family was a reflection of his faith, because of this we know we will meet again one day.

Preceded in death by his father Robert Harold Cordova. He is survived by his wife Brenda Cordova. His six sons and daughter. James and Christiana Cordova. Robert Jacob and Nezi Cordova. Jonathan and Monica Cordova. Jesse and Bailey Cordova. Kaleb Cordova. Rocky Cordova. And his princess Sarah Cordova. His five grandchildren. Robert Anthony Cordova and Penelope Cordova. Asher and Jason Cordova. Lila Day Cordova.His mother Dorcas Cordova. His mother in law Ruth Shanita Two rocks Martinez. His father in law Robert Martinez. His two brothers Rocky and Robin Cordova. Tommy and Saiphin Cordova. His three sisters. Joyce and Mike Perez. Evelyn and Mark Rinaldi. Eleanor and Jerome Gabaldon. Brother in law Robert Martinez. Sister in law Bridgette and Jason Soto. His godchildren Nicholas Soto and Sunnie Soto. His favorite niece Brenda Soto. And many more uncles,aunts,nephews, nieces and cousins.

Memorial for Robert Cordova will be at First Baptist Church Ruidoso with food to follow, 270 Country Club Dr., Ruidoso, New Mexico 88345 Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 11:00 A.M.
