Marilyn Ragland, beloved wife, mother, and friend to countless many was called to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from her residence surrounded by loved ones.

Marilyn was born in Dallas, Tx on October 1, 1947. She grew up and graduated from Lancaster, Tx where she established many life long friends, but she has called Ruidoso home for 20 wonderful years. After a full career in insurance, Marilyn and Paul made their mark in Ruidoso and established Shuttle Ruidoso in 1999. Marilyn’s favorite past time was spent on the golf course and she was actively involved with the Alto Ladies Golf Association.
Marilyn was humble, patient, and loving. She walked boldly in her faith and she brought goodness and light to all she encountered.
A celebration of Marilyn’s life is scheduled for Thursday, August 23rd in the Pavilion at Alto Lakes Country Club – 1 Country Club Rd., Alto, NM at 4:00 pm. The family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. Marilyn was truly loved by many.
In lieu of flowers the family is supporting donations to the Ruidoso Hospice Foundation, PO BOX 555, Ruidoso, NM 88355.
I’m so sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing. I just realized she was our next door neighbor when we lived on Aspen. We also attended tha same church. I remember her beautiful smile. Even though Marilyn was older and much more mature than than I, she always had time for me.
You and your family will be in my prayers.
