Danny Sisson

Danny Sisson is the manager of LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso and has held the position since 1988 when he and his family moved to Ruidoso. He holds professional license in New Mexico and Texas. He graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas.

Danny is a member of the New Mexico Funeral Service Association, Texas Funeral Directors Association, and National Funeral Directors Association. He has also served the residents of New Mexico serving as a member of the New Mexico Board of Thanatopractice. He is past president of the New Mexico Funeral Directors Association and New Mexico Board of Thanatopractice. Danny is also a field investigator for the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigators and is the Lincoln County representive with that office.

Danny is active in civic duties and is currently in his second term on the Ruidoso Municipal School Board and is the Past-President. He is also a member and Past-President of the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the First Baptist Church and has been involved with children and youth activities.

Danny is married to Shauna who is the office manager at the funeral home. They have two children, Amanda who is a therapist in Amarillo, Texas working in Communication Disorders and Cody who is attending South Plains College in Levelland, Texas.

Shauna Sisson
Office Manager

Shauna Sisson if the Office Manager of LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso. She joined the staff in 1994 as a part-time secretary and the position quickly became a full-time position.

Shauna moved to Ruidoso from Lubbock, Texas in 1988, she is a native of Texas growing up in the Pettit/Levelland area, graduating from Levelland High School in 1978. She married Danny and moved to Dallas with him as he attended Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. Shauna spent the early years of her adult life raising her two children, Amanda lives in Amarillo, Texas and is therapist with Communicaitons Disorder, Cody is attending South Plains College in Levelland, Texas.

Shauna was a volunteer at their schools and belonged to the Parent Advisory Council. She is a member of the First Baptist Church and has worked in the children's and young people areas.

Shauna has been the support member of LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso that has allowed Danny to do the community service in Ruidoso and Lincoln County.
