Services for Sarah Skye Kihega, 23, of Mescalero will be Tuesday, January 26, at the Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Oklahoma with burial on Wednesday, January 27, at the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery.
Sarah passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Mescalero. She was born May 16, 1986 at Santa Fe, New Mexico and had lived at Mescalero for the past 10 years moving from Valentine, Arizona. She graduated from Tularosa High School in 2004.
She is surivived by her parents, Charles and Mary Kihega; 8 brothers, Kyle Wilkerson, Harry DeJohn Kihega and his wife, Joy, Eddie Gilbert Kihega, George Kihega, Brent Kihega, Brian Kihega, Roman Kihega and Anthony L. Kihega; three sisters, Charlene Kihega Childs, Rowena Kihega, and Lena Kihega Klinekole; her maternal grandmother, Florence Skye; her friend and companion, Nick Garcia. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Alfred White.
