Harold Jason Shelby

His journey has just begun,

Don't think of him as gone away
his journey's just begun
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no day and years.

Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.

    Jason,
    I heard your voice in the wind today
    and I turned to see your face;
    The warmth of the wind caressed me
    as I stood silently in place.

    I felt your touch in the sun today
    as its warmth filled the sky;
    I closed my eyes for your embrace
    and my spirit soared high.

    I saw your eyes in the window pane
    as I watched the falling rain;
    It seemed as each raindrop fell
    it quietly said your name.

    I held you close in my heart today
    it made me feel complete;
    You may have died...but you are not gone
    you will always be a part of me.

    As long as the sun shines...
    the wind blows...
    the rain falls...
    You will live on inside of me forever
    for that is all my heart knows.

    Jason was a son, Jason was a brother, Jason brought me lots of joy, as I was his mother. Jason, so handsome and so tall, he would wrap you in his arms and make the worries look so small.

    Jason had a zest for life, and kindness, and fun, but our earth could not contain him, and so he journey on. We will keep him in our hearts and, we will see him in our dreams, we will always keep him in our prayers because that is how much everybody cares. Love you son.

    Life is but a stopping place,
    A pause in what's to be,
    A resting place along the road,
    to sweet eternity.
    We all have different journeys,
    Different paths along the way,
    We all were meant to learn some things,
    but never meant to stay...
    Our destination is a place,
    Far greater than we know.
    For some the journey's quicker,
    For some the journey's slow.
    And when the journey finally ends,
    We'll claim a great reward,
    And find an everlasting peace. RIP JASON

    Sandy I am sorry for your loss. Unfortunately I never met Jason and knew nothing about his life. However, being blood related I want to extend my sister La Donna (his great aunt) and my condolences.
